Cradle is built around minimal data collection. You can opt out of any non-essential data processing at any time. This page tells you how.

Analytics + crash reports

Cradle uses Firebase Analytics + Firebase Crashlytics to count anonymous installs, sessions, and app crashes. No personal information (your email, your child's name, your logs) is sent.

To opt out:

1. Open the Cradle app
2. Go to You → Settings → Privacy
3. Turn off Analytics and/or Crash reporting

You can also disable Apple's "Allow Apps to Request to Track" in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. This blocks all attribution-related identifiers app-wide.

Website analytics (cradlebabytracker.com)

This website uses Google Analytics to count page views and see which referrers bring people here. It is a separate Google Analytics property from the app's, and it is never joined to your Cradle account or your child's logs.

To opt out of it:

1. Install Google's official Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which blocks Google Analytics on every site you visit; or
2. Turn on your browser's tracking protection, or block cookies for this site, in its privacy settings; or
3. Send "Do Not Track" / "Global Privacy Control" from your browser — we honor GPC signals for this site.

Opting out here affects this website only. The in-app controls above are separate.

Marketing emails

We send transactional emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset) only when you take an action that requires them. We don't send marketing emails by default. If we ever do, every message will include an unsubscribe link in the footer.

Push notifications

To stop push notifications:

1. Open Cradle → You → Settings → Notifications → toggle off
2. Or system-wide: iOS Settings → Notifications → Cradle → Allow Notifications off

"Sale" or "sharing" of personal information (CCPA / CPRA)

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is nothing to opt out of in that respect. If California law definitions change in the future, we'll update this page and notify you in-app.

Right to delete (GDPR / CCPA / CPRA)

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data anytime: open Cradle → You → Settings → Account → Delete my account. The action is irreversible and removes all activities, household memberships, subscriptions, and your account record within 30 days.

Right to access / export

Tap You → Settings → Download my data to receive a JSON file with everything we have on you and your child(ren).
